SPARKLE ESTABLISHES COMMITMENT TO RoHS COMPLIANCE

   Taipei, Taiwan - July 1, 2006- In order to ensure the future of the world's ecosystem, SPARKLE Computer Co., Ltd., the professional VGA card manufacturer and supplier, today announced it is committed to complying with all applicable substance legislation worldwide, including the European Union Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS). SPARKLE will remove banned substances both in material usage in products and in the manufacturing process, effectively complying with legislation that establishes guidelines for reducing damaging waste from the computer hardware industry.

    By exercising adherence to the hazardous waste and materials regulation, ensuring environmental friendly materials and accessories from our suppliers and manufacturers, SPARKLE is delivering products which serve customer interests, and aid in the management and support of the environment. With appropriate validation and auditing, SPARKLE's transition to RoHS compliance will be a process carefully phased in over time. In some instances, the RoHS compliant versions of products may be upgraded with improved functionality, while some older non-compliant products will be discontinued. All newly designed products to be released in 2006 and beyond, with limited exceptions, will be RoHS compliant at time of release.
