What can I do when encountering no display after booting up?

Step1. Please check if the graphics card gold fingers are dirty  ,and try to use an eraser to gently clean the gold fingers.
Step2.Please make sure the graphics card is well installed to the PCIe slot.
Step3. If the graphics card requires external PCIe power connectors, make sure the 6-pin or 8-pin PCIe power connectors are tightly plug  into the graphics card. Please also plug all of the power connectors to make sure the power is fully supplied.

Step4.We recommend to use 2 individual power cables for 8+8pin or 6+8pin graphics card.
Step5.Please try to install to a different PCIe X16 slot on the motherboard if its available.
Step:6.Please do cross-testing with another HDMI/DP cable.
Step7.
  • If the cpu  comes with an integrated graphics on the motherboard(keep following the steps)
  • Plug the display cable (HDMI/DP) to the integrated graphics output port.(without discrete graphics card)then boot up

  • If the screen remains in black
  • That means the problem is related to  the motherboard not the discrete graphics card

  • If you can access the system
  • Then turn off the system
  • And install the discrete graphics card to PCIe slot on the motherboard

  • Plug the display cable (HDMI/DP) to the discrete graphics  card output port then boot up

Q5

Intel® Arc™

Why is the coil whining so loud when gaming or executing professional applications?

When executing heavy loads, such as decoding, encoding, gaming, and benchmarking, the PWM switching frequency is faster, causing the current to exceed even normal daily usage conditions, making coil whining louder. It is an expected behavior and also within the specified parameters.

Q6

Intel® Arc™

Why is the fan not spinning when running heavy workloads or light workloads?

The Sparkle graphics card comes with the TORN cooling solution, featuring a 0dB mode during light workloads and fan spinning during heavy workloads to enhance its cooling performance even further. If the fan is not spinning when running heavy loads, please try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue.

A310ELF,A380ELF,A580ORC,A750 ORC/TITAN,A770TITAN fans start spinning at 51°C

A750 and A770 ROC series fans start spinning at 56°C

Step1. Please make sure  your power supply is sufficient to drive the graphics card.

The power supply recommendation provided below is based on known specifications* and takes into account the entire system power requirements. It's important to note that the power consumption will vary depending on the hardware, usage patterns, and tasks that being executed.

*Environment:

  • RAM: Kingston KVR26N 16GB or Corsair Vengeance 16GB
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Ultra
  • CPU: i5-11600k or i9-11900k

  • For A580/750/770 - 650W or greater PSU.
  • For A310/380 - 450W or greater PSU.

Step2.If the graphics card requires external PCIe power connectors, make sure the 6-pin or 8-pin PCIe power connectors are tightly plug into the graphics card. Please plug all of the power connectors to make sure  the power is fully supplied.

Step3.We recommend to use 2 individual power cables for 8+8pin or 6+8pin graphics card.

Step4.Please do a cross-testing of the VGA cable.
